Job Summary
Candidate will be engaged in activities related to:
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) Compute and Storage related tasks using Command line interface
- Windows server admin and maintenance-related tasks through backend
- Candidate must know Networking concepts and commands using Unix/Linux
- Hands on experience on AWS CLI for common AWS DevOps tasks
- Individual contributor and must be able to demonstrate Networking and AWS Devops skills online during evaluation rounds

Key Responsibilities
AWS
- Creating, resizing, terminating EC2 Instances
- Creating subnets, security groups, application/network load balancer, target groups, route tables, etc.
- Troubleshooting common network issues like interface logs, cloud watch, transit gateways, etc.
- FSx and EFS file share creation and permission administration using active directory
- Windows/Linux
- Permissions/ACLs
- Troubleshooting upgrades and patches
- Mounting new volumes
- Troubleshooting services/applications
- Perform technical duties as it relates to cloud computing including planning, design, and maintenance
- Support technologies and build effective solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of New Product Development (NPD) and other business requirements
- Support the implementation of portions of new cloud solutions in partnership with team members (e.g., Cloud Architects)
- Recommend Best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
- Other duties as assigned by Management Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in in Engineering or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management System, 4 years experience of experience

Required Additional Skills:
- Experience with best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
- General experience with one of the following: AWS S3, Redshift, Azure DW, Azure Blob Storage
- Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with AWS preferred
- Familiarity with container and resource management technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Mesos preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
- Knowledge of AWS VPCs, Subnets, EC2s, routing
- Knowledge of IaC toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Powershell etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles
- Ability to run, debug, and modify scripts in Javascript, Python, C++ is preferred
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
